Vilhelm is a beautiful padded three-seater sofa designed by Flemming Lassen in 1935. A sofa must be able to function in several ways. It should invite calm and contemplation. Create a private space you can hide in and at the same time invite to life and play. It must be able to withstand sitting on the backrest or on the armrests and then it must be able to stand in the middle of the room if you want to.
In addition to being aesthetically beautiful and harmonious, the design makes absolute sense in relation to these parameters.
Architect Flemming Lassen was a modernist and part of the movement to bring functionalism to Denmark.
