THE TIRED MAN
Since Flemming Lassen designed the overstuffed lounge chair, The Tired Man, for the Copenhagen Cabinetmakers’ Guild Competition in 1935, it has become an icon. Flemming Lassen was a family man, who highly valued close relationships. Therefore, The Tired Man armchair should be no exception.
The Tired Man’s chubby and curvy shape along with the soft upholstery invites to homely coziness and socialization with hose you care about the most. Beauty doesn’t come in a better form. Sitting in the chair should, in Flemming Lassen’s own words, be “as warm and safe as a polar bear cub in the arms of its mother in the middle of the ice cap”. The charming and chubby lounge chair is available in the following materials: Sheepskin, Sahco Zero (65% cotton, 20% acrylic, 15% polyester) and Hallingdal (70% wool, 30% viscose).
