KUBUS INSPIRATION
The new Kubus collection in burnished copper has a raw quality and unique look, that will become even more beautiful with time. A special production process controls the patination of the surface and creates the highly unique, dark-tinted burnishing of the copper that adds new authenticity to the Kubus products and reflects the excellent craftsmanship. The dark metal surface works well as an accompaniment to our existing Kubus collection, uniting the past with the present time and keeping the Kubus story alive.
KUBUS BOWL
The Kubus Bowl is based on original sketches by Mogens Lassen, and features elements evocative of the Bauhaus school, one of Mogens Lassen’s primary inspirations. The Kubus Bowl is suitable for home decoration year-round and can contain everything from blossoms to herbs, fruits, vegetables or your favourite candy. Read more about kubus bowl
KUBUS 1
Architect Mogens Lassen was commissioned to design the interior for a restaurant in North Zealand, Denmark, and it was within the context of this assignment that the Kubus 1 was born. The square-shaped Kubus 1 gathered people around the table just as Mogens intended, and its characteristic shape and simple light created an atmosphere of coziness throughout the entire restaurant. KUBUS 4
With a sharp sense of contemporary Functionalist style, Mogens Lassen designed the iconic Kubus candleholder in 1962, a piece once reserved solely for family and close architect colleagues.
